the best time to book your Maternity Photography session
Embracing pregnancy and nurturing a new little soul destined for this Earth is a soulful and evolving journey. Our bodies, as women, are truly remarkable, creating and nurturing a tiny human being. Throughout your pregnancy, each day unfolds with a mix of new experiences, some delightful and others a bit challenging.
The journey of pregnancy passes swiftly, and before you know it, you'll be cradling your beautiful baby in your arms. That's why having a maternity photography session becomes a cherished way to capture and preserve those moments and emotions forever.
During this time, your baby bump radiates a natural glow, becoming the perfect centre piece to capture and transforming into a beautiful work of art that celebrates the essence of our bodies
As time goes on, those beautiful images become a precious memento, allowing you to reflect on the pure joy of growing and carrying your baby. And, as your little one grows and understands, they too can look at the photos, discovering the magical place where they once nestled and the way they looked in your belly.
How far Along in pregnancy should you be for a Maternity photo session.
Every photographer has their own unique take on the perfect moment for capturing maternity photos. Yet, you'll likely hear a sweet harmony suggesting the sweet spot between 30-35 weeks, that magical window of 7-8 months.
Why? Well, it's when you're in your prime—feeling comfy, full of energy, and flaunting that beautiful, round baby bump like the goddess that you are.
Booking your session around this time not only captures the essence of your journey but also allows a little wiggle room. Nature sometimes has its own plans, and if weather or rain is schedule for your date, we've got the flexibility to reschedule.
It leaves us space to pick an alternative date before bub arrives and if bub decides to comes earlier than expected.
I’m having twins or triplets, or I’m going to have my baby early. Are the rules for maternity photos different?
Every pregnancy is its own beautiful journey, and if you're carrying twins or triplets, you might be wondering if the regular timing rules still fit. Well, in these cases, it's a good idea to embrace the earthy vibes and plan your maternity photo session a bit earlier than the usual 30-36 week milestone. Your body goes through extra twists and turns with multiples, and there's a chance those little ones might make an earlier entrance.
I'd suggest picking the sweet spot between 24-30 weeks when you're expecting more than one bundle of joy. With multiple babies on board, that belly of yours will start showing its magic sooner, with a lovely round bump appearing earlier than a mama expecting just one.
This timeframe ensures you capture the essence of your pregnancy—when you're still feeling free-spirited and mobile. Plus, it's a guarantee that we'll capture those precious moments, just in case your little souls decide to join grace us earth side sooner than expected.
When should I book my maternity photoshoot?
For a truly grounded experience, I suggest connecting and securing your maternity session during weeks 12-20, right in the heart of your second trimester.
Booking your spot early not only secures your place but also shields you from the disappointment of missing out on these precious moments. Let's skip any last-minute stresses and ensure we capture the raw beauty of your pregnancy before your little one graces us with their earthly presence.
To add something special – how about including your newborn photography session as well? It's a way to embrace the entire journey with our Womb to Earth side Package, ensuring you make the most out of your experience
